druid delirium helm, good or bad?

hello, i haven't had much experience with shapeshift druids, but the following helm dropped and i'm thinking of saving up for the delirium runes to put in it:

3os alpha helm
+2 armageddon
+1 fury
+2 hunger

is it worth it to make delirium out of this?

No. Delirium is a decent helm, largely for melee types. The mods on that helm aren't good at all. There is no cohesion, and for the melee parts, a jalals beats the crap out of it. I mean, 4 to shapeshifting in general is a strong reason to use it over that, outide of superior stats, resists, fhr, defense, and a bonus to attack rating. Delirium is an excellent helm if you like it, but you need to make it in something a little better (3 to a specific skill you want to build around, with other plus skills to work with that one.)

If you find a 3 os pelt with +3 hurricane / +3 nado, then its worth deleriuming.

Another helm worth noting for Delirium would be a +3Grizzly/+3Spirit Wolf/+3 Heart of Wolverine. Or even one of the last two mods. Still awesome.

do tornados even trigger the chance to strike effects?...or are you simply looking for +5 to those particular skills? yeah, the latter is probably it...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can get spirit wolves and grizzly on the same helm.

keep the helm ... you might find that one day you want to make a geddon wolf that has no skills actually in geddon. If thats the cast then you could use this and use stone + other gear that gives + to skills w/ the helm for some decent geddon damage. Would be better if +3 geddon though .

thanks voice, that's a good idea. i think i will do as suggested and hunt down a +3 armageddon helm with second (and possibly third) mods to try that idea though. but all of this is far off in the future, as i still haven't completed my mf sorc yet...working on it...

just keep it, even if you dont need it, there might be someone willing to part with an arm and leg one of these days for it.

spirit wolf tier 2
heart of Wolverine tier 3
grizzly tier 6

requires a tier 5 item to get the grizzly tier 5 - 2 = tier 3, spirit wolf can not spawn on the pelt with grizzly.

I think he meant dire wolf.

no only melee attack cast ctc on striking or attack.
