Drink Orange Juice for hidden benefits....

A new study discussed on the radio this morning is telling everyone they should drink at least 12 oz of Orange Juice every morning. The direct health benefits are NOT the reason for drinking the beverage as it has been well documented that Vitamin C is good for you body. The benefits are achieved later that day (night) as in 2 study groups randomly picked those who had the orange juice had sex 60% more often than the group that did not have any orange juice.

The study also said that those who were drinking the orange juice and having sex were having sex for an average of 11 minutes longer than those who were having sex but not drinking the orange juice which resulted in increased cardio and better overall health improvements.

Conclusion - instead of stopping for a coffee most mornings on the way to work I’m now stopping for 12 ounces of orange juice.

Just so you know I’ve searched for the study report online and haven’t been able to locate it.

these sorts of studies just make me shake my head

it seems that the majority of the public in north america has stopped eating fruits and vegetables consistently over the years and then wonder why their daily health goes to ****

then they blow millions of dollars on stupid studies like these to figure out causal relations that should be damn obvious to anyone, that healthy foods have multiple health benefits

eventually we will see a study titled "water is good!"

Water is good?!? I wonder if I can get a grant to conduct a study on water and its effects on ones sex life.

If I heard all of the radio report correctly it was conducted by Cambridge University, and they are a British school that frequently does these types of studies (I think frequently do them anyhow). Still like I said I can’t find the actual report online so I don’t know if it was with them or not.

This came out of Cambridge Uni? Wow their standards have dropped. For those that don't know, Cambridge is the best University in the UK (or 2nd best if you support Oxford in the boat race, which I do, anywho...).

I drink about 2 litres of orange juice a day :undecided:

again not positive about the School, I pretty sure they said Cambridge but I'm not sure if the Cambridge is in the UK. I'm not finding another online but going to their website they have branches in the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia so it could have been conducted at one of them maybe.

anyhow I just thought the report was funny that whoever did it gave a group OJ and another group no OJ and the results they discuss on the radio is the part about it's effect on sex

I find these kinds of reports hilarious, because there's just... how exactly are they measuring the effects on these people's sex lives? Are they measuring how long they go for by actually taping it? And if so, will these be released on YouTube as "Scientific documentaries"?

I don't trust any study to do with sex. However, I will say this - my current partner drinks orange juice ALL the time, she can't get enough of the stuff. And the one time that she and I have spent the night together, it was much longer than I'd ever taken before. Thus, MY scientific study says that if your partner drinks several litres of OJ each day, you will last longer in bed.

And no, this study was not affected by the fact that she knew what she was doing, unlike previous partners...

Is there something you can drink to make it so you don't last as long?

Nothing I've found so far. There've been times I've wished that there was something I could have done to make my ex-wife last less time... but that's an entirely different set of circumstances, she was just demanding. Not that there's anything wrong with being demanding, as long as you're tasteful about it. She wasn't.

I beg to differ. It's one of the most dangerous and deadly chemicals in the universe. It's slightly less dangerous than distilled Paris Hilton skank but only fractionally.

That damned Dihydrogen monoxide. Scary stuff. I had some leaking out of my plumbing into my bedroom. I had to buy a $300.00 machine to reduce the concentration to FDA approved levels.
