Yes, you can have more than two auras. Check out my "Auramancer" thread. I'm going to use Hoj/Dream/Dragon on an Act2 Holy Freeze Merc. It works and works well. You're misunderstanding/assuming I'm talking about the wrong problem. I've never seen a mercenary with more than two auras, so perhaps the Statistics forum is wrong about that, or it's been fixed somehow.
I think I would take a Guillaume's or Andy's Visage over this one for Merc. I don't really see the need. If you need to take out PIs, Magi seem capable of it or you can always make a special golem or equip your Merc with something like a "Rift" or "Obedience."Okay everybody keeps telling me I need to make a dream helm for my fishy. I don't even understand why people like the helm. Can anybody spread some insight on this?
If that were so then why am I still seeing three different pulses? Fire, Light, Frost. Each have different animations when the enemy is hit and I can see all three.Mercs are still capped at 2 active auras. You might see 3 auras, but only 2 will be active.
Well, lucky you. If you dont belive me thats up to you.If that were so then why am I still seeing three different pulses? Fire, Light, Frost. Each have different animations when the enemy is hit and I can see all three.
The problem is that with lvl 30 HS aura (2*dream) the aura dmg is still justVery well, I believe that can put everything to rest. A Lightning Wolf with Crescent Moon and four-facet body armor would probably do great with two Dreams, or a Fire Wolf with Hand of Justice and two Dragons with three-facet helm, can still be viable, but I think people want Desert Warriors for summoners. I only see the Dream/Dragon/Infinity combination on a Holy Freeze mercenary viable for Lord of the Magi builds, and then you'd probably want the Dream and Dragon to be usable on Paladins with the Infinity possibly in a non-ethereal so you can add Cyclone Armor to your Bone Armor protection (sick).
