    Dream barb equipment

what equipment you suggest for a dual sword welding bvb pvp character?

some things i am debating between are:

    eth andys
    or
    coa

most likely phase blades for the -30 wep speed, so i was thinking an eth dimentional botd phase, and a silence/beast... phase

    eth glads bane
    eth tyreals
    fortitude

    dracs
    gores
    angelic? or highlords and others?

money is no object, build the best barb possible.

a bvb barb that dual wield is a dead bvb barb...
but if you still wanna try, this would be my dream setup:
    Coa 'ber'ber'
    Grief Phase 400 dmg
    Grief Phase 400 dmg
    40/15 Verdungo
Perf Sacred armor Forti 215% def 30 all 1.5 life per lvl
    perf uppgr 200% gore
    60/20 steelrend
    Angelics amu and rings

    and 40*3/19-20/19-20 sc's

This would be the ultimate if you want to go with dual swords since botd is at best a decent runeword if you compare to grief.

However, the best bvb barb IMO is:
    Grief Ba 400/40
50x def uppgr Arreats 6 ll sock with 40 ed/10 min jewel
    Storm (40/10 min jewel)
    Verdungo 40715
    Gore perf uppgr
    60/20 steelrend
    Angelics set amu and rings
    Perf sacred armor fortitude.

    and 40*3/19-20/19-20 sc's

Prebuff bo and shout with skills before the duel and use enchant from demon limb if it's allowed.

    + Deadly Strike
+ Venom (a not insignificant amount either) along with -ve Enemy Psn Res
    - 25% Enemy Def (- 12.5% base enemy def in PVP)

ITD and Prevent Heal are super nice for levelling, or if you run into DC, also.

and the fact you could put in on a normal class weapon and in many cases yield better results then a elite weapon depending on the roll.

im thinking of creating a conc frenzy mix, would a botd phase and a ss with two
other weps on switch do the trick? what frenzy weps would u suggest?

im still seeing a botd phase as beating grief all day long.

    you're probably going to want:

    cham'd arreats
    gores
    highlords and ravens/angelics
    dracul's/steelrends
grief/beast zerkers... make sure you get a 34 ias roll on grief.
    storm shield (switch for bvbs)
COA (31 DR, switch for smiters/zealots)
fort probably (tyreal's wont be spawning eth since its indestructible)... altough levi/upped shaft and enigma arent without their charms...
    enigma (for a little bvc)

dual wielding sword barbs are the dogs... unless you plan on making dual grief phase frenzy build. but thats pvm and you will get you're **** ruined in a pub by a barb.

ugh. let me do a little bit of rough math.

    phase blade = 31-35 dmg...
    eth dim = 19-47 dmg

    400% botd phase = 155-175
    400% eth botd dim = 95-235
    +400 damage grief phase = 431-435

coupla questions bout what you suggested

why zerkers 0wep speed over phases -30 solely for dmg?
because with conc ill need 45ias to hit 9fps and with zerk ill need 65

and for helm i was thinking ChamBer coa unless theres a specific reason you'd choose arreats

also if i have cbf(cham) in my arreats/coa, i can use angelics stead of ravens and highlords safely?

i didnt realize the 400dmg added to min and max.

now my next question is how hard is it to find a 5socket phase?

if you're making a strict conc build i cant really help you... but i'll tell you this:
    ww > conc
i conc with my barb all the time and quite frequently i win with my base level conc against barbs who are explicitly concentrate builds (go figure). yes if cham your arreat/coa you'll be able to wear angelics. arreats is a great helm... i only use coa if i'm in a strict melee game... i guess if you plan on deuling bvb only you can wear coa... but its kinda pointless since 99.9248859 of all bvbs wear ss.
the reason i suggest zerkers i because if you want two different weapons to reach the final ww breakpoint that actually deal damage you're looking at zerkers... they only need a puny 34 ias to reach the last bp... so combos like grief/botd grief/beast grief/doom etc are only do-able on zerks.

as for phase blades... you should be able to pick one up for a pul or something.

I wouldnt count venom as something useful on grief, not because of the insignificant dmg but since you can either have venom or enchant active at a time.I would rather take 218% ar boost from demonlimb over some psn.

Last time I checked you could have both on you. I will do some testing to be sure , but the statscreen does list both the AR and the poison dmg. The statscreen lies on multiple ocasions though.:D

    Edit.
I did alittle testing and found out both skill don't cancel eachother out. Here's what I did with testing.

I got my kicker. I unequiped all stuff so I only had my fists to hit. Which did 2-4 dmg. :D I had 334 AR in hell , my chance to hit was 33%. Ofcourse I couldn't kill anything.

After this I put on venom , and I saw monsters health drop + they were turning green. Ofcourse I still had a crappy chance to hit.

Finally , I casted Enchant on myself. My AR went up to around 1000. My chance to hit got to 67%. Which I did notice. And the monsters still turned green and I saw the poison working.

Thus this confirms what I said already. :D Venom and Enchant work perfectly fine next to eachother.

Ahem ofcourse. :D .Just followed the colors of titans on my zon, after using venom from andy's & enchant from limb, titans was red, even when enchanting first & evenoming second,so I just jumped to conclusion. But now, I checked the dmg & it did increase when I turned both on.

    Sorry for the confusion. :uhhuh:
