    DR And Bone Armor

Prior to what Crimh asked abt defence, block, then bonearmor,i do have another doubt. Lets say my necro's block fails, and damage is done. Is DR factored in before the damage is applied to bone armor or only after the damage to bone armor is done, then DR is checked to see the damage done to necro's life?

    Thanks

DR works in combo with Bone Armor. First they check DR, then they check Bone Armor.

ok i know this may sound ridiculous to ask but....i was just wondering,
lets say DR is factored in and then the damage is calculated towards the bone armor....What if the damage is high and bypasses the bone armor, is DR factored in again to check the damage done to my necro's life?

To me it seems that it would only be logical that the DR is checked once and any damage that bypasses the bone armor is passed on to my life direct and not checked again.....but hell, i have to be sure. :xtongue:

Actually I don't know that. I think it is not checked again, because it is not a second apllication of damage. But it is really hard to tell. I'll have to try this.

lol thanks for the prompt reply mantis :xmad:

but if thats the way its really calculated, i think bone mancers are a little too overpowered against char that deals physical damage, dont u think so?

    just my crazy thoughts heh.

    Cheers!

Melee fighters are pretty much doomed.
