Don't build summoners if you have a poor PC!
I have a very poor PC, and that's why I stick to low requirements-friendly games like D2. I must input that Necromancer is my favorate class by far.
So, my friend borrowed me his account with his godly geared Summoner. Finally, I could put my hands on Beast, Infinity Merc, Enigma, an insane damage-dealing army, and all things I dreamed about acquiring later on with sKeLLyZ, my lvl 75 hunger stroke Necromancer.
Running trough WSK and the Throne of Destruction was a breeze. Creeps dropped dead before I could even curse them. Baal was even easier. All I had to do was Teleport over him, move out, lit my cigar and watch. I must emphatize that I'm a HC player.
I would give five stars to the outstanding performance of Summonancers in PvM, if wasn't the EXTREME lag I suffered. I barely could play the 'tactician' role. Teleporting to gather army, cursing and CE corresponded to 3-5 seconds of delay. Life dropped below 70% a few times, and I had absolutely no idea what have struck me. I had about 58 minions in my screen.
Unfortunately, what was sKeLLyZ's one dream to be the army of pure ownage, turned into the army of pure lag. Now I'll have to consider other options viable to my wooden PC...
