Even then, the question is still valid... A smiter might consider a weapon like Stormlash for its fast speed, Crushing Blow, and inherent ctc Static Field (read: it may not be Grief, but it ain't a bad choice either... especially/maybe if you don't need your weapon-switch for anything else - start with Stormlash & switch to Grief).


As far as I know (which isn't much in this case) unless any of the ubers are lightning immune, static will work. However, static's effectiveness is always influenced by monster resistances... so if one of the ubers has ~95% lightning resistance, then your benefit will be very, very small.

Your have a good point, i forgot that are some itens that have a % of static field.
