Nay, in the beta you could get 5 sockets on a magical scepter with 3 flawless gems, but b.net nerfed that down to 1 socket (was the maximum sockets in an item, now 'tis just one.)

I would get one, but I would expect it to be pretty expensive, just because of its rarity. Imagine a Rose Branded War Scepter of Quickness with dual Bers, +3 HS, +3 Fanat, and +3 Smite. :surprise:

I had a Priest's War Scepter of Quickness with dual Bers and +2 HS, but I traded it away, thinking I won't make another smiter again (since my .09 v/t). I think I traded it to one_line_drawing for a beast caddy, so maybe I'm gonna try to contact him online, as he was banned here. (By the way, does anyone have his accountname(s)?) If not, I'll use a Heaven's Light or my Beast caddy.

Since only swords could be cubed with the 3 chippie recipe in .09 (afaik), only they may have 3 sockets.

Just for info, you can't have smite on a weapon, +3 HS and +3 Fanat is possible.

Ah, really? That kinda sucks, but oh well, Smite gets most of its dmg from HS anyways.

rosebranded war sceptor of quickness is best with 2 bers from what i've tested. and for ow dmg its about 500-600 dmg during pvp at clvl90+. ow is nice mod to have, but smite usually kills ppl rather quickly so going for ow on the weapon wouldn't be as good of an idea IMO.

Open wounds is useful if you can charge them while they are moving, then you force them to come to you before they run out of life and you just smack them with your shield.
