    Does size matters? (skeleton shield)

as the title said, does the size of shield which my rised skeleton hold matter? Bigger the size = more block? rised skeleton may hold different size shield, sometimes no shield at all, does it really matters, or just for display?

I normally want bigger size, 'cos I think they may block more, is it true?

I've asked people before.. and most say size matters. Though, they say it matters when it's too big. Most say average size is good..

Honestly, I think that the shields are more of an ornamental thing. I have never seen nor heard the *tink* of any skeleton block ever. However, I am quite partial to the large shields when they are raised. The kite shields look too big and bulky, the small shields, while appearing to be more functional than on most characters (since small shields are used for more agressive blocking) aren't as nice looking and, well, the no shield look just looks stupid, especially with the arrows coming out of the forearm like they get now.

neither I've seen skeleton block, but it was said anything in game with a shield has a chance to block. I do like the large shield, they look shining, and massy, give skeleton more beefcake look. The small shield looks too bad, large round shield looks better. I totally agree the no shield skeleton looks so sutpid, I was think an invisible shield maybe?

As far as I know (not very far) summons only get resists from the summon resist skill and have no other passive resistances.

I've heard that *tink* when my skelly have a shield, but if u have maximized RS + necro skills item, your skelly won't be hitted most of the time :) but if u don't have that much of rs and you are playing in the Hell, you'll hear it much more. I personally prfer the skelly with larg shield, don't know exactly how much % bloacking but it seems that's the best shield foer those skelly

It's not size that matters, it's how you use it - and AFAIK all Skeletons get a chance to block now (shield or otherwise... in fact I've yet to see a Necroskeleton without a shield...).

In fact, just like monsters, any variance in their graphics will have no effect on their actual stats...

Size does not matter, it's the motion of the ocean that does. Practice technique and and pray that your wife is a very understanding person. I know mine is.

Hey! come on. All you've got to do is read the topic and you can't help but try to highjack this post.

    Sorry,

That was the reason I added "skeleton shield" at end.

@Shade: you remind me Austin Powers' father.
