Does MF effect re-rolling magic items?

    Does MF effect re-rolling magic items?

    Just curious if this so, when you re-roll a GC for example will MF increase your odds of getting better mods?

    Yes, it does. Get 1337 % mf and you will always roll a apla combat 45+ life :goofy:

    lol... so I'm going to guess that you have no idea what MF does.

    It increases the chance that when an item drops, it would be blue/yellow/green/gold instead of white. That's it. It doesn't affect re-rolling, it doesn't affect your Hell Forge drop, etc.

    MF makes white crap into blue crap.
    Blue crap into set crap.
    set crap into rare crap.
    rare crap into unique crap.

    I think that's the order.
    It has nothing to do with makeing something into something good.

    Nope. The game runs sequentially from unique, to set, to rare, to magic, to superior, to normal, and finally crude. Each of these have their own odds of rolling positive (and thus ending up at that quality), and MF affects the odds of unique/set/rare/magic.
