Does Mang songs > +3 Enchant "Leaf" Staff for enchant?

I have been reading some threads RE enchant and they stated that the -res and +% damage from prebuff items will still apply after enchant is added to the character even if the -res +% item is switched out.
I was thinking that a Mang songs +5 to all would sway it as it would add an extra +2 to fire mastery while only losing one from enchant. The -res does/doesn't apply? And you could always add a +5% to fire dmg Facet.. Ideas? comments?
I'm looking at making an enchant melee sorc using Passion runeword :thumbsup:

i guess so, because a 3/25 eschuta has more enchant dmg than a leaf

From what I know is that the -%resist only applies when you actually have it active. The 5% fire skill dmg does work for pre-buffing though.

Like Lunatic said, the -%resist does not work with prebuffing. It is applied when your fire damage actually hits the target.

+%fire ed from facets work exactly like Fire Mastery does i.e. you can prebuff Enchant with them AND you get the bonus from them again when you do melee fire damage with them.

magical orb (+3 fire +3 enchant +3 fire mastery) with 2*5/-5 -> lvl51 enchant 4840-5574 dmg
leaf (+3 enchant +3 fire mastery) -> lvl50 enchant & 4500-5189 dmg
3/20 eschuta with 5/-5 -> lvl48 enchant & 4385-5068 dmg
5/-15 mang songs with 5/-5 -> lvl49 enchant & 4354-5026 dmg
leaf (+3 enchant) -> lvl50 enchant & 4304-4963 dmg

hope this helps u a bit if u want to know what the best choise is to prebuff enchant
i'm using eschuta myself since i didnt find anybody with the magical orb i mentioned (dont even know if it can spawn)

ps : equip i used was +3 enchant 20% fire ormus (5/-5), +3 fire 2*5/-5 coronet, +3 fire amu, lidless(with the orbs), sojs, arach, mages

dont forget the lidless if its a 1hand weapon

lidless, sigon or visceratuant with facet

& as mentioned above only the +% matters for prebuffing so 5/-3 facets are perfect for melee enchantress

The best prebuff is an orb with +3 fire skill tree, +3 fire mastery, +3 enchant, with a shield of +1 or better skills.

Leaf is cheap and effective as its +3/+3/+3 will net you a total of +6 for both important skills, mang songs +5 is less than +6 but its hard to find a +3 enchant +3 fire mastery staff for leaf.

memory will also work with its + 3 all skills and the +3 fire mastery + 3 enchant.

look at your +skills and choose the one with the most +enchant + fire mastery you can.
