If you go pure lightning and need a LI solution then upped Titans will work for jabbing.

If you're just making a hybrid then it's not needed...

upped titans also make it easier to leech back life/mana (with jab) when needed

No such thing as having too much damage. Even when Lightning skills depend on +skills to boost damage, there is nothing wrong with boosting alternative damage (read: physical) which go with your attack anyway. Of course the real problem is cth with the physical javelin since no AR boost is given by lightning fury for example.

No AR is needed. LF is auto-hit and carries your physical damage.

Inner Sight helps AR with Jab.

For PvM its not needed at all imo. The reqs are higher and if you are on a low budget it will not be worth the runes it costs(Lum+Pul+PEmerald). If you have trouble with Immunes, use a Demons Arch and Tiamats Rebuke on switch + your merc if you use one.

Really, it's for leech and of course style... And of course the extra damage is nice...

Since nobody has mentioned it so far, here is one argument against upgrading:
If you tend to use CS in IM-areas (Chaos Sanctuary, WSK3, Throne of Destruction), it is safer to use a non-upgraded weapon, since you don't 1-hit kill yourself (with decent amount of life).

show me javazon what will jab doing CS runs
as IM does not work on throwing attacks I don't get your argument.

Light Fury deals half physical half light dmg. Or am I wrong? If this is true then I don't see any good reason why not Up titans. Also more physical dmg more leach.

The only argument against eth Titans in general in PvM is you cannot repair them. My java have good IAS and often I run out of javelins (too slow repl)
The solution was to have 2 eth titans. While one in job other rests and repl.

and req 97str 141 dex is not that much at all.

GG for up
