thx.. i'm guessing it works that way for all the RW with no stated clvl req? i kinda always wondered but hadn't thought to look it up.

I just wanna say "Myth" is a terrible, terrible RWs for barbarian even at low level. It has no res and the +2 barb is one of the least crucial mod for melee character. It's a waste of Hel and Amn which has better use elsewhere. You're better off with full Signo set till you can equip whatever uber armor you have in your stash.

As per usual, Dusk Shroud or Archon Plate would be a good choice. Personally, I would go with any 3os elite armor with low str req. as you will probably replace Treachery with something better later. For merc, try to get a eth bugged version of elite armor, anything below 180 str req is good. Anything above that, you need some str gear for your merc or get him to really high level to equip the armor.

i've been thinking.
A completely synergized lvl5 holy bolt does 800-1000 damage (to undead ofc).
So getting Principle on a paladin with BH and FOH maxed might work as a wierd new kind of build.

My personal armor preference for 'Treachery' is the Mage Plate. It looks nice, and even has a nice name... but that's not what you wanted. It requires only 55 strength (you'll almost always have at least this much anyway), and doesn't have an increased level requirement (43, instead of 49 for Dusk Shroud or 63 for Archon Plate). A few hundred points of defense isn't going to make or break any build.
As for 'Myth', it's a decent option for a Singer on a budget.
