Re: Does anyone believe demons exist?
So what's that when divided by the number of children in public schools between 1991 and 2000, and those left in the care of priests for an equivalent amount of time (what is it, 8:30-5:00 every week day for two semesters a year?) between 1950 and 2002?I believe in the <potential>, considering that the supernatural is simply something for which we've not found an explanation that we can grasp.
And as to the Christian hating found here ('tis the season!), might I remind everyone that the number of children yearly molested by public school teachers outnumbers the numbers of Catholic priest abuse cases by a staggering ratio (and that's including the priest & young man numbers, for all you queer-haters): Between 1991 and 2000, roughly 290,000 students were subjected to physical and sexual abuse by teachers or other school personnel, versus 10,667 allegations of sexual abuse by of children Catholic priests between 1950 and 2002.
