Does a PvP Smiter need Max Block?

all your theory craft doesnt mean it works in practice, most pvpers can have a 3 minute bo and duels dont last that long when its bvc vs smiter.

For a 180 seconds bo, you would need a lvl 16 one. Now, let's see:
7 from CtA
1 from Anni
1 from BC
2 from Enigma
2 from Spirit
1 from CoA
2 from amulet
16 total

your life tap wont work unless you can hit the paladin every single time

That's like saying that a Summonmancer should beat a BvC because they do not hit every time. And hitting everytime with a non-ITD attack is impossible.

you can mindlessly random short ww and waste mana where smite cost 2 mana and just need a single good freeze + tele smite to kill you

Wow, I didn't know your smiter could do 53708 damage. Since that is what it takes to deal 6300 damage in a single hit when faced against 31% PDR and PvP penalty. That's got to be the worst ever overexaggeration.

In conclusion, you think amp is better against a bvc than lt? Even though it costs you half your life? Even though it renders the smites you use to proc amp worthless? Even though it could result in your death before you even manage to make use of amp?

BMing via LT by dracs/exile is much safer. You still get a decent ctc, you maintain your life and mana, and the triggering of lt is even more drastic a win condition than amp. What is there not to like?

you dont get it... the version of the anti barb smiter was suppose to have defense like 60k someone posted long go, it rarely gets hit, and you do need some dex for max block with shields like exile.

you use fade,pala uses clease so ?, and curses still last a bit even with fade on, smite kills fast when your being amp,

no its not true that such smiter gets rarely hit... they get hit a lot but life tap saves them from being demolished...
oh and by the way its really easy to beat such smiter , one only needs 10+ frw scs in inv and one is out of smiters range ...

The dueling style of east and west is very different. East is more organized but also more bm/run and heal/save and exit style. I personally never used anything more then tgods and ravens. I'd say 9 times out of 10 tho east players are better then west so he might need some sorb untill he learns what they do.

as i said most pvpers got a 3min bo usually, you amp with lacerator switch abck to greif setup, it kills barb much faster you got 75% block 60k def to tank him out. plus freeze+ cleg is very slow ww barb

I'm not really even a barb player but I'd ****ing laugh at and then proceed to **** on any smiter trying to hit me with a lacerator. It's utterly ridiculous especially considering you brought up using exile for massive defense earlier.

its not me on the smiter , read before post ... and no matter how you tele you cant hit the barb enough times before he kills you, as i said its a matter of gear set up... but i don't expect you to understand what i'm talking about...

my style is dictated by 150+ ping, thats why i get hit so much. the second vid the barb don't lag and as you can see with 0 dr he gets barely hit. again its a matter of gear set up .
