Do you continue characters by number?

just wondering, when your character dies, and you make another, do you use the same name and add a number?
me for example, im up to Korzol-VII.
what about you, do you do Zon_III ?

if so, whats your highest!? :teeth: :D

    no.

I rather find original names that goes with my characters build... i always have FoG infront of my name then i put something... like if i'm playing a blade fury asn i'll call her shinobi or something... a necro maybe powerslave... you get the point...

No...if I were to do that then I'd be very embarassed, not to mention quickly running out of space for the name itself o_O

Depends... the way I name them they are all individuals. If they hit the ladder I don't erase them, but if they are taking up space I'll rebuild them.

I prefer to keep it simple. Don't want an account full of Roman Numerals.

Haven't lost a pvm character yet, so no.

I have made 4 MK-Defenders, (my level 25-26 kick assasin) but I never added II, III, IV to them. Number 5 will be comming up soon i hope.

Absolutely, i have 2 or 3 names that i constantly continue with some roman numeral after it such as blahblah_II or blahblah_IV. Blizzard's unique name policy has practically destroyed the chance to find a good fantasy or humorous name, unless you have some uncanny imagination (which i don't).

If one dies, they normally come back as a reincarnation of the same name after deletion, or xxx_reborn.

One character I made (a would be dueler druid) died at lvl 7. I remade him and he died at lvl 3. Remade again, died at lvl 1. lol
Stopped making dueler druids after that...
Their faster hit recovery is just crap even when they are decked out with Khalim's will, Hsaru's set and a lvl 28 enchant... or maybe I was just rushing, going to black marsh at lvl 1...

The only one I numbred like that was an imbue-runner. I supertwinked a paladin and killed everything up to The Maulus in nightmare and made two imbues at lvl 26-30 (optimum level for highest damage at that time) with each runner. The last one I did numbered at XXVI, but he died in nightmare due to disconnection.

I name ALL of my characters Mad-Merlin (including mules)... I'm up to LXXVII, which is 77 to those of you who don't know. I'm kinda panicing now though, because I don't have room for LXXVIII, so I may have to start cleaning out mules or something.

XXIIC would be 78 wouldn't it?
If not technically correct, well, it's still interpretable as 78 and is shorter =)

Edit, while I just went and actually looked, guess you don't start subtracting until 90...so no, I guess it's not technically correct, could save you from changing your naming system though....

normally i dont use numbers at chars when they die.
BUt for hellforge boosts and mules i do use numbers.
    Example Hellforge_one, DarkYmuleOne

Indeed, you're only allowed to have one lower value letter before a higher value letter to do the subtraction bit. Also, it's worth noting that you can't have something like IC to represent 99, which of course throws another wrench in that theory.

I dont die enuff to make a big count but I have had a couple II or III guys mostly due to making a new guy and just knowing someone will die soon since it hasnt happened in a while!

I had TEB-StingzI thru III and TEB-StingI-III but only TEB-StingI was dead at patch.
