Do you believe in God?

Simple question if you do vote and say what religion you are. I've only listed the main ones so please don't get offended if your particular religion isn't there

I also put the main branches of Christianity the ones with fundamental differences

So everyone knows I'm a Christian and no I don't want to start a who's religion is the best or whats the one real faith I'm just interested

I dont know what I am, nor have I really cared enough to even look it up. It's not that I "believe" in no God, I just do not believe one exists. If it is ever proven to me that a God exists, then of course I'll agree, but until that day comes, I don't have a logical reason to believe. So, is this Atheism? Am I Agnostic?

I do not believe in god/gods.
And I dont care if anybody does or does not.
I mind my own business and I am not into affairs of others and I would love to believe others see it the same way.

Btw my country is often reffered to as the most atheistic country in the world. Thanks god :)

If you lump in Catholic with Christian, that's two...

Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses worship a different deity (despite what they claim), just like Muslims.

Hmm.. interestingly enough, Jews share a deity with Christians and Catholics, but they'd deny it, wouldn't they?

Well duh. The christian deitys son was killed by the jews. The jews are gods people. It's physically impossible for gods people to kill gods own son hence it's impossible for the christians deity to be the real god.

Are you suggesting that Christians and Catholics are polytheists? As a J e w I claim that they take our God as one of their three.

added: interesting to note, if you type out something that the censor doesn't like and go back to edit, the word gets changed in your tet to stars.

No they don't, Muslims, Christians and Jews all share the same God. Can't speak for Mormons or Jehovah Witnesses though as far as I know, they to have the same God.
They only different in the way they interpret the prophets. However, if you want to take things far, they (should) even except the other holy books as part of their literature - with the proper importances off course.


P.S. And Christians aren't polytheists. They might believe in different forms of the God - the father, the soon and the holy spirit. However, It's not like Three different Greek Gods or anything.

As far as I know - and that's how I have been thought:
Muslims believe that they are the direct children from the first born of Abraham - that old man though couldn't get children with Sara and therefore he took one of his slave and made her pregnant. So as they are children from Abraham, It's quite logic they believe in the same god as Abraham.
Jews and Christians believe to be the direct children from Abraham second child, the first child from Sara that would be the child given by God. So once again, they should believe in the same God.
Now the lines of Jews and Christians stay aligned until the birth of Jezus. Christians believe him the be the messiahs - the son of God. Jews simply see Jezus as a prophet, and not really an important one as they eventually killed him. And that's the moment when Jews and Christian divided. Before that, there were only Jews, Jezus himself included.


P.S. Why is the word Jews without an s blacked out by the word filter?

You haven't understood the concept of trinity. You don't have to, but it makes no sense to draw conclusions from it then :p

BTW, the first commandment (which are said to be the words of god himself) gives the hint that there's more than one god, but you should only worship the one.

Muslims, Christians and Jews are worshipping the same god, but as all of them are humans, they probably have different ways of misunderstanding him.

Na this is how it works.

Christians pursue a policy where they kill or subdue everyone that doesn't have the same religion

Muslims do the same.

Now all of a sudden they discover eachother and that each side has hundreds of millions and today billions of followers. An uncomfortable silence arises.

They decide to Officialy claim that they worship the same god while in private they take comfort in knowing that the other party are heathens that will go to hell.

The jews are just caught in the middle wanting everyone to leave them alone and stop killing them for once in 3300+ years.
