Do minions from Runewords persist?

Hi. If I missed a FAQ, please point me to it.

If I use one of the runeword items, that gives me say Oak Sage, or Direwolves, do the pets persist if I then take that item off?

Thanks

It´s easy to check it out experimentally
Anyway - I never used these runeword items but I used Nature´s Peace ring and I suppose it works similar. Oak Sage desapears if I change the ring.

Oh, yeah...I shoulda just experimented. Let me look through all my high level runes :uhhuh: and build some runewords I wanna test.

Not a good omen, what you say about the Nature's Peace. I was wondering about summoning and then putting the item on the merc.

Thanks for the reply.

From my experience with Bloodmoon, you lose your minions when you switch weapons.
'Switch' as in "Hit the w key"? That'd be even worse.

Thanks again for the replies.

That's how it's always worked for the "normal" necro and druid items that boosted minion skills. I don't see why it would be any different for charged minion skills.

Ah. Of course. My necros have seem that many times. Even when I have the same skill level on the switch.
