Do Fire Mastery boost other's with Enchant?

Hi, so its a simple question.

Do Fire mastery boost others enchant dmg, or only the sorceress's itself's?

pretty sure it is only the sorc, but I could be wrong. kinda like cold mastery doesn't lower resistance for other characters. (I hope lest I look like a fool)

Fire mastery improves the efficiency of enchant, it doesnt matter who u cast it on, it could be other character or ur merc, it's equally efficient.

Edit: wait, let me go home and check on it before u add that 20 points, I have an enchantress. I am currently at work, and I may be wrong, dont want to lead you down the wrong path.

Of course you should max fire mastery!

Fire mastery gives you +%skill damage. +% skill damage applies both to fire skills and fire damage. If you have +50% fire skill damage, a firebolt which normally does 10-30 fire damage will now do 15-45 fire damage.

If you have a scimitar of fire (magic scimitar) which does 2-6 fire damage. With +50% fire skill damage, it'll now do 3-9 fire damage

When you cast enchant, it's a fire skill, and it gets boosted by your +%skill damage. it will be treated like the fire bolt. When you enchant others, this applies too. it's a fire skill, so it gets boosted.

Now, if you are enchanted, you have fire damage on your attack. So if you attack a monster, the damage from enchant is treated just like the scimitar before, and therefore your +%skill damage is applied again. So it's applied twice. Although, if you enchant a someone else, he will need +% fire skills damage himself in order to get the second boost

Venom also works in the same way. When you cast it, it's a poison skill. Wen you attack with it, you have poison damage.

I think you know the answer but you just explained it a little to advanced for muh simple brain.. so I'll try again. I'd like a yay or nay.

YES it does. Max fire mastery.

Without fire mastery, you can only give around 1k (with lvl50 skill) fire damage to other players.
If you have also maxed fire mastery, then you can give 5k fire damage to other players. Or just 3k, if you have not good +skills in that enchant sorc.

Check your mercs damage, before and after enchant, it behaves like other players.



And if its for leveling purposes, then store couple raven claws (lvl15 uniq bow) so you can give those to lvl15 to chars you enchant. Give them also death belt+gloves,angelic amu+ring and they are ready for norm cows at lvl20 and nmare cows at lvl25.
