    Dilemma: Pants...

Dont laugh, this is really annoying..

I have just destroyed the pants that I am wearing, there's a big nasty hole where the right knee used to be.. It stuck behind a corner of my desk and the whole thing tore apart.

Dump the pants and put another pair on you say?

Well, I have 3 pairs of pants: these ones (officially ruined), a pair that really needs to be washed and is so filthy that it is unwearable (I fell while playing some soccer.) and another pair, that is soaking wet from a lot of rain and snow..

I have to go to the city in the coming hour, what to do? what to do?

I have these options, three (monty python 8)):
Wear ruined pants to the city..
Wear filthy, stinky, yucky pants to the city..
Or wear soaking wet pants to the city while it is really cold, but dry, outside..

put the soaking pants by a heater until you have to run out the door. If they're not dry in time, they'll be nice and scorching hot for the city. :xsmile:

Pssst, you have an hour -- throw the wet jeans in the dryer. If you don't have a dryer, you can toss 'em in the oven to bake a bit or even put them in the microwave.

Desperate times call for desperate measures!

EDIT: Well, I forgot the part about the little metal rivets all over the freaking place so forget the microwave. :bonk:

Oven will still do the trick.

    Pfft... pants.

They're lucky if I wear pants to work.

Just go without 'em. Even if someone notices, who's going to be the first to say anything?

I dont have a dryer and I think putting a pants in the oven is screaming for accidents, I've put it on the heater and I hope it'll be dry in time :S

The worst part about drying soaking wet pants without washing them is the odor they'll start to emit :yuck:

Wear ruined pants. Stop by Walmart on the way. Buy new pants. Change in car.

    Well ...

GIR's suggestion is pretty reasonable. Pants are overrated you know. :D

well I'm back from my little trip! weehuu!

    funniest thing is:

When I came to the pant-store (just a random local shop) I was really laughing at myself for this silly situation so I just said to the salesman: I need new pants! Meanwhile I was pointing at my knee..
He laughed and told me I wasn't the first guy to have such an incident, although I was the first who had tried to repair his pants with tape.. :)

Gosh, I can't believe none of y'all have tried this method. Use a hot iron to dry your pants. Yes, a hot iron. You know, the one you plug in the electric outlet. Not the ones that use charcoal, ok? I've done so many times and it dries quicker than the regular dryer. Just make sure that you iron on the an ironing board and be sure not to touch the HOT (steaming) part of the pants.

There's a proof that girls are smarter than boys. :xmad:

I used to use a iron when I crumpled a paper for school that was due in a matter of minutes, worked wonders.

Holes are the new fashion I guess. I know a girl that spent $70 on a pair of jeans that come with a big hole at the knee and a tear or two further down the leg.
