Died 6 times already..

with an average level of 25, restarting is getting reallllly annoying...

3 times, meph/duriel chased after me from a party of 5 and ended up only attacking me... (while i attacked/didnt attack) them.

2 times i died with full life and having some super champion exploding and killing me instantly....

and 1 time from stupidly going afk in a place i thought was safe...

edit: this was all done in a day... so im tired of hc already : /

first. try to stay togther in the party. second the FE (fire enchanted) explosion is bugged and does HUGE damage to low fire res. and 3rd. stay afk in town

our party were all surrounding meph/ duriel, and he only happened to attack me :/

as for staying afk, it was only honest to god, for 5 seconds, to go refresh my browser.. : /

Be more careful..Keep going, you'll get usto HC. Everyone (Most) Lose a few chars to start with.

Juvies.

For instance, I have my drink rejuv button hotkeyed to my left side mouse button, the one you hit with your thumb. When I play my thumb is always on that. I've had my life drop to about 1/6 of the bulb, and I'll pop a juvie so fast my green health bar doesn't even change on the party health at top.

Edit: And regarding you dying instantly, well, you just have to learn to recognize dangerous situations. Good luck.

Quite so. You tell the kids of today that you can take down hell baal using Rixot's Keen, the Gnasher or Crushflange and they wont believe you :smiley:

If you keep dying around level 25, you might be putting too few points into vitality. Putting nearly all your points to vitality in the first few dozen levels really helps your survivability. Use helms and armors with rubies in em. And yes some things you will learn the hard way unfortunately(everyone has), theres no getting round to dying a lot at first.

Also fire enchantment really isnt that dangerous, only a few monsters in the game can be deadly when spawned with it(that is, if you have 75% fire resists and decent life like you should in nightmare and beyond), those are the superuniques in NM that have a lot of life.

Hehehe. I have a barb build I call the Bash-Barian. . .Maxed Mace Mastery, Bash, and Double Swing. He uses an upped crushflange in one hand, and a 'Black' runeword in the other (in a Knout iirc), Rattlecage armor (not upped), and Goblin Toe Boots (not upped).

He is my Baal Runner. And he does a bang-up job. BUT NO ONE BELIEVES ME ('till I run Baal with them).
