Didn't rescue Cain
Just for kicks I went straight to Andariel, skipping most of the early quests (like rescuing Cain) to see what would happen.
In Lut Golein, Cain appeared (saying something like 'Bless the Rogues for finally rescuing me') and now he always charges me for identifying items. That's a nice touch, huh? :thumbup:
Going back to Act I, the Quest menu says that quest can no longer be completed.
Anyway, wasting money for item ID is no problem. Later, I'll follow the proper sequence in Nightmare and Hell.
But, have I already screwed up my character? Aside from wasting gold throughout Normal difficulty, have I permanently missed out on any skill/stat points, etc?
