I need to know how you make the other diablo appear so i can try to get that rare charm that adds to experiances. thanks for your help

I believe there is an FAQ about him on diabloii.net and the arreat summit.

Main idea is, when you see the phrase "Diablo walks the earth," the next super unique enemy that anyone gets near (Bishibosh, Eldritch, etc) will turn into the clone. Then you just take him down and collect your charm.

Supposedly it's based on the number of sojs sold over time on a server. So if you see the first message stating "x sojs sold to vendors" or whatnot, if you wait around long enough, sooner or later he will appear...of course, you never know when that will be, since a. you don't know how many sojs need to be sold and b. you have no way of knowing when or how many sojs people will sell at any particular time.

You can imagine how frustrated I was when I made a game with my Conc-Barb-In-The-Making and saw that message. Of course, now I am more than capable of killing the clone, but back then when i had the chance to meet him I was a weakling. =\

So he basically appears in a random game?

he appears when enough sojs get sold to NPC(aka merchants). AND he appears ONLY on the server which hosts the game(s) where sojs are being sold, meaning -for example, i sell 200 sojs on .55(server #) and he will appear in all games on that server(.55). Servers are NOT realms, each realm has many servers, and dclone will appear only on games played on that sever, both NL and L.
Now you are thinking 'great, but what us 'enough''! weeeeell here opinions differ a bit, i can't remember the exact numbers but they're 75-135(if you want i can check)(give or take 10) SOJS FROM THE LAST TIME HE WALKED!

PS. 75-135 means that he can appear on 75 sojs sold but he can also wait till 135 sojs sold.btw don't get crazy bout clonehunting, it's gone a bit lame these days, since noone sells sojs/needs an anni, and clone is a pretty girl like allways, he needs to get all dressed up to enter, and it takes him, well FOREVER! :xgrin:
