Well, got my FO/ME sorc up to 45

Found my first manald ring on new ladder ----- You know what happens next

Leave game as life getting low.....

Well I sulked about it for a day (strange - dont usually - but did this time).

Played a bit of "Age of Wonders II".

And now back with a new "baby" sorc at 16.

Plz note, this isnt a "Beg" or "Sympathy" thread - just my observations

And for those in Gat Europe - you may see me in the usual norm game tonight

I know it, i lost my first (ready to MF) sorc at lvl 65, on my way to NM mephi, with rhyme, 3ptopaz armor, 2 ptopaz helm, ancient pledge on switch.
Life gets low, hit esc., to late, black!!!
My new one is now at lvl 44, a little bit more careful now.

No death here..but also the failed attemped to quit LOD and rather play "Emperor". Returned to LOD after 5 missions.

Well I restarted on Sunday at about 8, and Im already 16.........

So not tooo bad.

Once I got over the initial shock, I saw the stupidity of my actions (as always).........

I died with my first four MF sorces this season (lvl 58,18,16,27).

I learned from every mistake though and the fifth is doin fine at lvl 70.

Just found mosers, a 20 dex ravenfrost and magefist in the same game :clap:


Usually I die alot belov lvl 30 cause i get sick and tired of other ppl hiding. Sorces with 100 life arent made to tank duriel I guess, but I rather try then waiting for 1h for someone to get thier lvl 80+ friend to kill normal duriel.

It's indeed an unfortunate way to die. I usually try and predict if i'm about to get into a life threatening situation and exit BEFORE my life bulb gets too low for comfort. After playing the game for a while you usually get a sense for this. Also try and make your first reaction to gulp a full rejuv before you exit. This may sound stupid because why exit on full life?? But try thinking a bit differently and anticipate when your lifes going to drop and then avoid getting into those situations. Also if you get surrounded exit, don't wait for your life to drop thinking you may be able to escape death, don't take the chance!

If you think what i'm saying is complete crap then ignore it but if you can get something out of all the babble i'm pleased.

I also think it's really stupid to quit because you died. If you have a habit of constantly dying then it's a different story but if that's the case you either need to go back to softcore or stop drinking while playing.

Re quiting - that was "pi$$ed" off instinct. Of course I wouldnt quit

Re pots - Id already used up all my pinks (warning signs were there obviously).

It was just, as occassionally happens with me, a moment of stupidity
