I know how you feel. I have quit and come back to Diablo about 8 times now. It's a drug!

But what a good drug it is. It'll comfort you when you return but it won't take any toll other then time. And unlike other drugs, it won't adversely affect the age you look relative to your actual age.
It's gratifying and soothing, relaxing and wooing.
You'll learn of economics and of people that take advantage.
Adversity and mischief, annonymity and grief. All there at a moments notice when you feel like it. It won't allow combinations with other drugs, since your play is then affected and the 'hangover' will be all the worse for it. Does this make it the king of drugs ? :)

I played D2 a lot pre-expansion and then just started up a few months ago. It can be addicting but I think I'm almost bored now :( Since there was a huge gap when I restarted, the game is almost like a new game now.

If you have your original CD case, the CD-key is on it. Just hunt around for your original CD case if you still have it somewhere...

It takes a bit of getting used to, but for all people who played pre 1.1x it's like a whole new game with farmiliar graphics.

Well, im used to playin d2 solo almost, cuz harcore classic was empty when i played. Id almost be better off playing with a fake key and solo the ****. I guess it wont be that same tho, i wont be able to kill assholes who wont leave people alone. God there are a lot of them in hardcore. I dont even have my cd case, my friend ganked it one day at my house then stoped talking to me. If i had it i would return it to walmart for a band new copy, and cd key. i used to do that so i could play mutliple computers at the same time. What good is a MF sorc with no BO, seriusly.

Yes, it's called buying one at Walmart for $10. That is all it cost anymore w/o expansion.

Mine was called, "Buying at Target, keeping the part of the receipt for Gift Returns, and then...."

Well, I'll leave that up for the rest of you to figure out what I did.

I thought they put the key sticker on the inside to prevent such use. And that they would seal the box on all sides so it can't be returned when opened. Mebbe that's just the paranoid shops around here that do that. :)

I need to go look again. last time I was there, it was still $19.99 for D2 w/out the expac.

local compusa went out of business (just this retail location) and they were still 'clearancing' it at $19.99 too.

I may be acquiring a 2nd laptop for very cheap...
