Decrease map transparency

Is there a way to do this? Unless I am in a dark area, it's hard for me to read. I have the Fade set correctly, too.:yes:

Game Menu (Esc) --> Options --> Automap Options --> Fade

Choice of everything/auto/center/no. I assume that's what you're after?

[edit] Nvm, I just read the part about you having set the Fade correctly. Um, I don't get your question. Please explain?

Even with the automap options apparently set at max non transparency, it is still too transparent (too see through). How can I make the map less see through, and easier to read? I believe the word is opaque. I need some damn map opaqueness!!

I'm guessing here that I know what you're after, and I don't think it's possible. Even at the highest/brightest/whatever setting, the map will still basically be outlines. If you're looking for a more solid appearing map, it doesn't do that. Is that... more or less to your point?

Either that, or change the gamma/monitor settings?

- You don't have to have map over the whole screen -> set it to ''minimap'' and put in one of the corners.
