Make them bring back the A-Team and MacGyver, those shows were brilliant.

The memories about them were better than the actual shows. I watched a few recently. Awful, just like the Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movies - except for their westerns, of course !

Well, nobody asked Johnny or the Swedish people themselves. Second, you can leave parties whenever you want, otherwise you can expect a ceertain set of rules which are followed by your allies, like not making ego or solo trips and then asking the others to help or what's worse, calling them cowards if they refuse to join foolish missions.

However, I guess that Sweden only sent professional soldiers, i.e. people who chose to join the army, and not draftees.

Refers to the age of its voters.

And what refers the word grand to ? Grandpa ?

Black men got the vote 50 years before women in America. That might also be a hint.

I'm quite sure that black men were hindered to vote in a lot of states and for a longer time than women. Whatever, I'm from the wrong country to make smartass comments about adjucating past-time racism in other countries.

No no, the shows are as good as we remember. I've got the first two seasons of MacGyver and they're awesome. (Hmm.. we're not supposed to pimp sites or engage in illegal activity, but is sharing tv shows illegal? I could have recorded them on my VCR and then let people borrow the tapes...)

The US just waltzed in and grabbed your soldiers? Border security, people!

However, I guess that Sweden only sent professional soldiers, i.e. people who chose to join the army, and not draftees.

I'm not sure if I read you right here, but the US hasn't had a draft since the Vietnam War, iirc.

It's illegal to send drafted soldier abroad. They are only allowed to be used for home defence so yes the people sent abroad are professional soldiers that have signed a contract to serve abroad.

Either way Sweden committed to the war in Afghanistan so we can't just withdraw and Obama has promised to escalate the effort in Afghanistan which means that more of our soldiers will die. That's why I would ask him not to escalate the war in Afghanistan.

I see what Johnny is saying. Many Canadians have gotten blown up over in stupid Afganistan. I'm tired of hearing how great these people are. They blow themselves up and blow up us Canadians who are there to help them. Are they really such great people? Do they really deserve us Canadians and Sweeden people in there baby sitting them? Let's face it, the second we pull out, they're going to revert back to whatever it is they like to do over there (thowing acid on girls' faces, etc).

I think another reason why Hillary lost (and I could be wrong about this) is because she has the 'elitist' problem (the media got it all backwards, it's not Obama, it's Hillary). She seems to appeal only to high up 'business' people like herself. Idk, she just seems like such a business woman. And her spouse is a fromer president, so it just seems her way to the whitehouse would be paved with diamonds.

Here's an example of what I mean: she (or some rich advisor) chose that "you and I were meant to fly" song for her campain. Now, the media were all over that because it was a Celine Dion song by a French Canadian. What they really should have complained about is that this song was famous and first made to advertize a wealthy air line corperation (I think Air Canada, which is huge). So is that what Hilary is all about? Rich, powerul companies? Didn't anyone tell her that most of voters in America don't fly around like she does because it costs too much money? Sometimes I think they should just get an ordinary dude to advise them, instead of some guy whose mouth is stuffed with cash.

In fact, I belive she would have stood a shot at winning if she would stop being such a visual spokesperson for women's absoulte success (which is a fairy tale).

The same question can be asked of the Palestinians. And, in reality, there's decent people out there - even if they have child brides as part of the culture and live in abject squalor so that being a smuggler is a dream career. The fact remains that their nasty little country has seen something like 30 years worth of conflict, and that maybe eradicating the nastier bits might help them achieve a little peace. It has worked in Iraq, it was going to work in Lebanon, and there's several places that have a proven track record (sadly, most of these don't involve Islam).

They might also have remembered the Clintons' use of "Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow" by Fleetwood Mac (initially unauthorized).

UGH! I made a valid attempt to watch the new Knight Rider and I couldn't make it through the first episode. Everything about it was horrible - it was almost like some high school kids, who didn't know the first thing about using a camera or directing, made it on a budget of $100.

And they kept showing the same 3 second CGI effect over and over.

They would have done better to dust off the original and reair them.
