Dead?! How?!

I was sitting in town in one game, Nothing special happened, and I saved and exited. Next thing I know, my sorc is invisible. What the hell happened?

I had some nice stuff too, IMO, Tals ammy, soj... All stuff I could've traded away.

No chance of me getting her back is there? :scratch:

Apparently, there is a town-kill hack out, but it's not clearly confirmed for the "where ever in town"-type yet. Anyway, maybe that's what happened right before you exited? Or, you were actually not in town, but lagging majorly and died server side, only to see it in the "chat"?

i would guess the same 2 possibilities for the death.
the one thing we can say for sure is that she is dead... nobody got an invisible char back.

that's odd, but the two possibilities are easy enough to distinguish between... was anyone else in the game, or hostile? or had you just run into town from the main entrance? (note that if you're lagging, you can't take tps or wps, even on your screen, not just server side)

Is it possible anyone stole your password and simply "hacked" your account?

Do you use the same password for forums?
Have you ever used a maphack or other hack while using the same pass you have now ?
Have you ever told your password to anyone?
Did you enter use the password recovery system and have not changed your password since the abuse back then?
