    Damage+% on strafe

    Hello Everyone,

    First post on Diabloii.net (just geting back into diablo after 3 years and am trying a ladder character instead of Single Player) and I'm hoping to get some clarification on the Zon's strafe skill. When checking the Arreat Summit, they post a Damage+% per strafe skill level. Then under that they post 3/4 damage.

    My question is, if each strafe shot is just 3/4ths of your normal bow damage, what is the dmg+% do? If anyone could lay out the math for me, it'd be very helpful.

    Re: Damage+% on strafe

    Weapon is 32 to 40 dmg
    Strafe 3/4 = 24 to 30
    Strafe +100% = times 2 dmg
    Strafe = 3/2 dmg
    Final dmg = 48 to 60

    So in the end strafe does 50% more damage.

    weapon is 100-100 damage
    You have Fortitude +300% damage
    You have 300 DEX e.g. +300% damage
    You have might aura from merc 150% damage
    You have +100% damage from strafe

    Now you add all sources with +% damage together and multiply bow damage
    100-100 * (1+3+3+1.5+1)=950-950

    this is what you would do with guided arrow with 100% ED, but with strafe, the game will apply the 3/4 penalty now.

    950-950*3/4= 712-712
