    dagger/slowmancer questions

hi i was thinking of this setup

    Skills:
    20 poison dagger
    20 poison nova
    20 poison explosion
1-5 clay golem(enough for 50% or so slow)
    1-5 golem mastery
1 decrepify, lower resist, summon mastery, corpse explosion
    prereqs 7

thats a total of 74-82 points, attainable at lvl 62-70

    equip:
    armour:duress
shield: homuculus+ p diamond(highest block necro head and 57 res)
weapon: blackbogs sharp(weapon with the poison skills and 50% slow)
    helm: gaze, shako ???
    gloves: trang ouls
    boots: gore rider
    belt: ?
rings: raven, maybe angelic combo if ar low
    amulet: highlords, angelic combo

if i follow this, i have easy 20 points over what to do with them ??
also some tips on equip and the build please, and what merc to use
i was thinking on slowing all monsters with decrep, or lowering their resists with lower resist, but i'm not sure how all the slow works together. please some feedback

I'd definitely spend the rest of my points in some summons...1 point in skeleton mastery and rest in skeletons...or get revives...probably revives as they are tougher meatshields with only 1 point in skelly mastery..personal preference.

Armor: I would probably change the Duress armor to a Chains Of Honor if you can afford it...The crushing blow/critical strike is sweet but as a daggermancer you're more of a hit and run guy...not the guy who stands there pummeling monsters.

Helm: I'd also take Shako over Gaze...The leech isn't going to help you much because you have low physical damage..and the difference in damage reduction isn't very big...and the remaining mods on Shako are godly.

Boots: Goreriders...very sweet boots but again you're not going to hit monsters a lot so I'd go with some decent rares or boots with boost to attack rating/dex, maybe a good pair of rares.

Belt: Hmm probably go with Thundergods Vigor or Verdungos...or a belt with good resists if you lack that.

Ring/ammy: I'd definitely go with Angelic combo...keep 1 ravenfrost for the cannot be frozen. Highlords is very sweet but you're gonna need the attack rating.

Merc: Since you're a slowmancer get a holy freeze merc those guys are awesome...get a weapon with big crushing blow...ethereal upgraded Hone Sundan with Shael/amn combo would be ideal, or a Tomb Reaver.

With Clay golem + Holy Freeze merc+summons you should have enough crowd control, so I'd stick with lower resist and stab those monsters to death.

About crushing blow: Crushing blow is very sweet but works best on fast attackers, which you're not going to be...Your job is to hide behind your minions and step forward and poison the monsters one at time...focus on poison damage and let your merc do the crushing blow...of course if you can squeeze something in it won't hurt...just make sure you can survive first.

    Hope this helps.

Get some AI curses. Things like DV and Attract will come in very handy with your hit-and-run tactics. Getting Revives isn’t a bad idea either.

Don’t forget to use Three Parts Trang. It’ll be fantastic for your poison damage. As for armor Bramble isn’t bad. You’ll need the FHR if you are planning on running up to things and stabbing them. Without good FHR you’ll be able to run away quickly enough after being hit.

Don’t forget to take a look at the Daggermancer guide in the [ Essential Necromancer Information ] sticky.
