Re: D3 Character ideas discussion!
I find hard to believe that you are tied into blizzard at all without sometype of proof, but this sounds. Charecter i would like to a see a return of is the Assassian, Druid, and paladin. All three class where great and will be hard to duplicate with other classes.
new class idead i have seen and thought would be kool would be:
Bard- this charecter would have alot a buff and debuffing moves, would be great for a support charecter and would have some great combat moves to complimate his buffs and debuffs.
Priest a holy class that wield a bow, this class will have spiritual power giving them better accuracy and whay to enchant there arrow, while also providing some buffs to themselve and party members.
Hunter - best way i can describe this class would be a mix of a amazon and assassian.
Shaman- very elemental magic user, alot of self buff type spells
Warlock- a fallen paladin, no using drak magic instead of holy magic.
desert marauder - dessert based class, very simuar to an assasin. multiple people have came up with classes simular to this.
Channeler- from what i understand this charecter use power over spirtits, using this to empower themselves with new powers, and even possibly tkae control over other charecters, this was an idea made by "Chorkstain"
Shadow- this seemed to be a new version of the assassian, incuding and engineering tree, shadow ranged, and shadow melee tree, this was an idea from Guercio.
Leech - simular to a necromancer, this charecter messes with cadvres. Skill trees labled as "Anatomist" "healer" and "Apothecary" this idea was from Guerico again.
Dragon Rider (otherr words a Dragoon) - this clas would be very knowledgable with dragons, with the ability to summon them to aid this warrior, with tree such *** Dragonology (summoning), Destruction (fire moves) and Dragon Master (melee fighter). this idea was made by "Death and decay"
Alchemist - self buffing charcter, and damaging potions skills, and summoning. this Idea was made by squid knight
Blacksmith - the blacksmith would be based around creating and manipulating weapons/armor. rather than have him actually make things to equip in equip slots, he might have a skill "craft armor" that acts as a temporary armor buff. this Idea was made by squid knight
Grand Vizier - a dessert base class, this class is based around ranged attacks and magic. this idea was made by bossuk.
Warden - This character's gameplay is based on using mid-ranged attacks and weapons such as whips, spears, and throwing items. this idea was by BigKevSexyMan
Cavalier- Fast, good at killing individual targets, requires forethought. Also has ability to use bows, sword and shields, and can use the shield as a weapon. this idea was from peasant.
Survivalist- This class would fill the role of a ranged attacker, but it wouldn't use a bow. I'd like it to use a weapon type that didn't get much attention in D2, throwing knives and axes. it was commented this class would need a new name which i would agree. this idea was made by akboy.
Geomancy- this charecter would have power of the earth, could be a very intresting creating rock armor buff and walls, and ability to cause and eathquake, alot could be done with this. this idea was made by DemolitionSquid.
Sorry for the huge wall of text but this is what i could pull off the first page, this whole forums is nothing but people putting out there ideas and wht they think would make a good possible class.
I know we all are very excited about this game, and if you want more ideas, check other pages of this forums.
