i want to tranfer an item to my another character.i asked and this is the program.but this program needs an internet connection.and i have none.how can i use this without an internet connection.??(i heard that this is possible).thanks all..
and please dont say this is an hack.

No idea how the .dll works... but you can use ATMA to mule items between Single Player characters. There is a sticky thread on this topic at the top.

Its not hack.
I suggest you use ATMA. Its much easier, look at the stickied thread on top of page. It allows you to transfer stuff much easily.

The .dll allows you to run 2 copies of d2 at same time.

1. host mp game
2. join with other client
3. mule your stuff
4. quit the game

You might want to refer to the sticky ATMA thread..You wouldn't need an internet connection with ATMA and can move/store all your items easily..

AFAIK, you can use an address of 127.0.0.1 and not worry about an internet connection, since that's an internal IP. But use ATMA instead. You'll be happy that you did.

FYI the no cd patch can also allow you to start multiple sessions of d2.

But there are things multiple session of d2 is good for, like self rush a char to use the imbune quest, or the socketing quest.

One zero-internet solution (except to read this post): if you use WinXp is to just use account-switching and pseudo-TCP. Because of ATMA I only use it when I need to test something in PvP, as I've never gotten the gfx file to work.
