D2 on a 16:9 widescreen monitor?

Seems there is no technical subforum, so does any of you play on a widescreen monitor and what settings do you use to avoid the stretched screen?

Back after 2 years to pick up HC again....feels really weird

Way to n00b it up. First I post in the tech forum, then I find 4 threads on this already.

I'm on a 19" widescreen and I am running it at 800x600. I turned all the lighting features off along with the perspective.

It's a bit odd at first but I've since gotten used to it.

Sorry it's not much help you do get used to it though.

19 " viewsonic widescreen running 800 x 600 as well .. I have everything on except perspective .

Other threads suggest that the Nvidia panel handles resolution, but I didnt find a way. Luckily my monitor could be adjusted to fit the image with black stripes left and right.

So..problem solved, Dell FTW 2005

I was just checking in to see the status of D2 and saw your post, hehe.

Sadly though the first thing I saw was a tppk-post so I guess I am staying away from D2 for the future...

Unfortunately I may not upload animated avatars anymore...wonder why? Works on the worldofwarcraft site.

I doubt I am really back, LE Rakanichu got me at lv 6. Means I am

a) a far cry from hardcore
b) after 2.5 years of absence a n00b again

I run it on a 19" widescreen monitor as well, thought I generally prefer running it in windowed mode.

22" widescreen here and I run in a tiny, tiny 800x600 window. I jsut cant stand the stretching. And I find pretty useful that I can access the internet, irc and ATMA with ease.

I run a 22" widescreen with D2 @ 800 * 600 and it really doesn't bother me at -all-.
