everything else is either skills or just plain lame & its a monster so anything goes imo (xcept for 1st line)

I don't think PMH on a merc works. I did have Blackhorn on the Merc. Either the Merc couldn't hit DC or PMH did not work properly.

In ladder 1 I played hardcore with a blizz sorc. And I killed DC many times. The things I had that made the fight go smooth and easy (pretty quick to), was;
Maxres
Thundergods
Hotspur+Dwarfstar
BO (from a barb)
Lower res wand
The other parts in my eq is irrelevant, so I'll just mentioned it was from there I got dmg and res (and life/stats :xrollseye )

When I found him, I just casted lower res on him, teled on him and static to half health. Then I started to blizz him from about 2/3 screens distance. Just be sure to keep lower res active on him, and keep him chilled! :xsmile:


NOTE: No, I did NOT use Energy Shield. Reason: In hardcore I go pvm, and in pvm it's acceptable to use absorb. And absorb+ES doesn't work well together. Another reasaon was that... I was a blizz sorc, I did not have the skills to use energy shield :xgrin:
One more thing; I did not use a merc either, reason: a merc on DC dies to quickly, and even if you'd be able to keep him alive with; Eth Guardian Angel (vex), eth Blackhorns (cham), eth weap with loads of res, the merc would still keep DC on his place (you think; well that's a good thing. Isn't it?). That's NOT a good thing, becuase blizzard does most dmg when it's target is moving
