Hi,

My merc is carrying a Reaper's Toll and wearing a Coif of Glory, and I have seen monsters with the Decrep and Dim Vision signs over their heads... is this a display error or can they be "double-cursed"?

Also... I have an ethereal rockstopper, should I give that to the Merc instead of the Coif?

I don't unfortunately know whether the monsters can be cursed twice, but would like to know also. I have seen the same thing happen just the other day.

Equipment on Merc does not lose durability, atleast the Eth Reaper's Toll on my Necro's Merc is still at 1 Durability

Well... no monster can be double-cursed, but it's possible that one of the mods isn't actually being treated as a curse... if they exhibit both effects (ie slow move/attack speed and Dim Vision effect), then I'd say it was a feature, otherwise it's just a display glitch. Haven't come across it before (Reaper's Toll? What's that? ) so I don't know for certain.

Nope! This makes it handy to pickup and save decent ethereals, other than if you are just collecting named items. My act 2 mercs, from levels 25ish-45ish, use an ethereal Battlebrach that I've had since 1.09. Nice damage and some lifesteal.

I'm pretty sure someone said that you should always curse with decrepify and then an AI-curse, because then they'd stack. (Not a very helpful post, but I just had to say something.)

I can sort this out...Blinds target is not the same as Dim Vision curse...your Coif is blinding them, decrepify is cursing them, it's just the game uses the same graphic to represent Dim Vision and blinded monsters...give your Necro merc a Woestave and cast Dim Vision, you'll see what I mean...

OT: does anybody know if their school is looking for a Chemistry lecturer, professor? I mean college or private school. thanks
