Hi. I haven't played in a long time and I was wondering what the current 'hot' dueler is that everybody is playing. I'd like to make a counter to the 'hot' dueler and kick their butts if it's possible.

To the OP, there isn't 1 character that everyone plays, thus your plan is crushed down. However, there are characters that can beat almost any build out there. Such characters could be Bonemancer, BvC, BvA. For information of BvCs, do a search for "blobguide" and look for "new blobguide", for BvA, look for Dyn's PvP WW Barb Guide in the barb forums stickies. For Bonemancers, check out Soulesschild's boner guide, it's a bit outdated in gear, but still works.

What about wind druids? I know some chars own them but very good ones are hard to beat.

with my new setup i have so much light stack that this would not even work...


BvCs, hammers and bone necs are the most dominating chars i see in dueling even ww//trapper which only really loses to another ww barb.

i always see bonemancers, and lately i've been seeing smiters and FoHs including smite/FoHs XP

builds ive seen clear a pvp game in my days:
bvc
bva
boner
windy
cs zon
es / fb sorc
hdin
trapper

any one of these well played (assuming they dont sorb you) can clear a game.

heh that's what i am building right now. 3x level 95 chars.
1) a 3k life max block bone nec,
2) a 4.3k life hammer with grief as wep for 1 pt. charge (while still maintaining 125% fcr) resist stacked to sky high too (15x 20/11cr sc and 16x 20/11lr sc) ^^ and
3)remaking my bvc again :grin:

already got most of the equipment that i need, this time it's not gonna be a budget char. anymore :thumbsup: .
P.S you can still clear a game with budget chars tho. (in pubs that is). A bvc does great in pubs and so does a hammerdin.... but i think a well played hammerdin is the best at bm dueling

Mage, V/T, Liberator, and BvC's are extremely versatile. Windies are ok for everything except Trappers -.-.

I find my trapper good against most Bone Necs too, in general i can kill them pretty easily, save for the godly one i see once in a while.
