Hi. I never found the answer to this one. What's the recipe to put a socket in things like a Shako?

1 Ral Rune + 1 Thul Rune + 1 Perfect Sapphire + Normal Helm = Socketed Helm of same typeThe number of sockets created will vary. The item must be normal and unsocketed. Low-quality items and superior items do not work. The item gets 1-3 sockets, randomly. However, the number of sockets is then restricted by the maximum number of sockets that base item with that ilvl can have. For example, if you have an item that can only have 2 sockets, there's a 5/6 chance of getting 2 sockets and a 1/6 chance of getting 1 socket.

If you meant a Harlequin Crest, the only way to put a socket into a unique item, is with Larzuk's quest reward.

Thanks. That leads me to another question. I don't suppose you can use the socket quest twice on the same unique can you?

You cannot put sockets into an item that already has sockets; doesn't matter where these sockets came from.

So yes, if you've socketed the item with the quest it cannot be socketed again. If the item already spawns with sockets it cannot be socketed either.

Just adding to Myrakh-2's reply, neither the socket recipes, nor larzuk will be able to socket the item if it already has sockets.
