"Crescent Moon" for Merc Polearm on Necro Build?

Hi all. I've been gradually finding and gathering gear for a new necro this ladder. I already have stockpiled a few things I've found like a Homunculus, couple decent Vipermagis, couple "Spirit" Monarchs, Gravespine, a few white wands which I may "White," poison facets, etc. Seems the longer I go, the more necro gear I find...

Two days ago, I found an ethereal Ogre Axe while I was MFing. Sigh, not an eth 3-socket Thresher...but it's a good start. Started thinking about what I could make in it, and the best rune word that caught my attention for it would be a "Crescent Moon" for its affordability and general usefulness. Since I'm mostly using runes that I occasionally find/Hellforge (Ists, Guls, Vex, etc.) or mid ones that I trade for, I can't really opt for items like "Infinity" or "Pride" for a Merc weapon. Out of my budget. "Crescent Moon" has Static, decent damage (especially if it's made in this eth Ogre Axe), fast, etc. I know "Crescent Moon" is pretty good in a Phase Blade (having used one on my Frenzy Barb), but I haven't yet made it in a Merc polearm. Um is within my budget. I'm about ready to trade off a lot of gems for one or two.

Anyway, I was wondering what your opinions would be on this for an Act 2 Might Merc for either a Fishymancer or a PvM Bonemancer (a build which I have not done yet, but I do have a Bone GC that I found...so that could be a start). Would this be very useful for a Fishymancer or would I be better off loading up his Merc with an "Obedience"? Any use for a Bonemancer? Do any of you guys use one for your Mercs?
