Last night I was running some baal runs on nm with my fury wolf and my friend (sorcy). A slightly lower level cold sorc shows up and tppks my buddy. Thankfully she had loot on , So I pick up her wizzy and ammy when the sorc that tppk my buddy managed to find her way back instantly (mh?)to to the throne and tries killing me... I then manage to catch her and start furying away on her and she was just about dead when their "chicken-hack" kicks in and she auto tp's back to town. After that she calls in 3 of her fellow noobs, erm I mean friends. All of them are 20+ levels on me and they camp the throne. Meanwhile my friend is sitting their waiting for me to get his gear so we can rebuild and move on. So I then appeared to be afk so they would just leave.... Yeah they waited an hour.. Eventully my buddy drops from being idle so long. They then laughed called me noob and left...
WTF that takes mean to a whole new level...Anyone have something like this happen to them?
I hate cheaters.. Sorry to rant, just had to come out.

thats how battle net is unfortunately. full of little kids seeking to get their selfish joys. and the anonymity and lack of administration allows them to take it to the worst level.

personally i have been tppked 10 or 20 times but i havent ever had the trouble of getting someone loot me (i either play in priv games where i cant be tppked or in pubs but in pubs with strangers)

Yeah, I know tppk is a fact of HC.. I do my utmost to minimize risk.. and knock on wood it hasnt happened in a long while to me.. Even with tppk.. HC is still worth it.. I love this game... Hc is like highspeed internet, once you convert over you cant go back.... Normaly , the pk kills you , says haha or something similar and leaves.. To wait in a game with 3 of your buddies so the victom cant get loot is crazy! ... :sad2:

on the plus side, my new fury wolf is level 67. just a few more till SS.. I cant wait , my pup is ..... 3-4 days old now.

Karma has an interesting way of working itself out..

Last night I was running norm baal runs when a high level sorc come in.. I just smelled pk all over her.. She ends up being a firball sorc.. Not to my suprise she starts spamming fb's and tries to tppk some of the low levels there.. She actually misses everyone on her tppk attempt. People then Rush back to town to hide/wait it out.. Not I... I happen to be wearing a dwarf star and rising sun ammy on top of overstacked res (think 70-80% fire sorb). So I then truck my way back down to the throne to eat her... Killed her in 1 hit!.. 8 levels higher then I. Got 135K gold too.. Totaly made my night. And made up for the hassel from the night before. Everyone was like GJ because it was game on after that

that ear still makes me grin when I see it in my stash..

One less tppker on east HCL,

your probably right about playing it safe and just leaving... But after the mess from the night before I wasnt backing down... I belive you have to pick your battles carefully.. If it was a windy or zon , I would have left.

A: They tried killing peeps by tppk using fireballs.. People dont attempt tppk with off skills for a bluff in the hopes you'll come back so they can try again.. Maybe >02% does, but it doesnt make sense..

B: In normal diff with my end gear finaly equipped I felt quite safe that no elemental build/sorc could kill me.. In fact I've tested 1 hit shots with my friends above avg builds and even in hell I'm hardly scratched... Maybe I'm overconfident, But I'd say it's impossible to tppk my druid on normal diff using any light/fire/cold setup.. I have far to much overstacked res, Dr, sorb and life. It wasnt me they were intialy aiming for.

D: you were right about them camping the tp's , I re-ran from Worlstone 2 wp back down.. no chance of them tele'ing back all that way before I can walk from the tp spot in town to the wp without delay, I dont care how much FCR they have..


Just Saying... Had a bad night the evening before, and managed to turn the cards on some hack using d2scum the next day.. Maybe it wasnt the most prudent thing to do, but it was gratifying.


P.S I love your city.. Is so much cleaner as a whole compared to any major US city. Good work indeed

If the TPPK missed her attempt and everyone ran to town, why did the PK go back to the Throne? That doesn't make any sense. A TPPK doesn't want a fight, they're looking for an ambush. No way she'd risk a stair trap to go back and try to PK someone legitimately. And what are you doing in normal Baals at L68? Sorry, your story sounds fishy to me.

It is what it is... I cant prove it beyond the ear , and you cant disprove me either... WTF is up with the sceptics... I was bummed from the night before due to pk's and was happy about turning it around. .Simple as that. I wish you well.
The game was still full of people and many tp's where in the throne.. I presume the pk was hoping to get another crack at someone.. Most of the chars in the game were 25-40 (normal baal level runs) So nobody posed a risk to the 75 sorc (besides myself) I was in the game because I made it.. I was the killing char for leveling purposes of the others. I enjoy helping people out. I know that on HC that's rare.. but it happens. If your not going to help people out or risk playing public games at somepoint, then why bother playing on bnet at all.. Just stick to SP... SP is of no interest to me.

Don't get me wrong I know its really gratifying and I'm happy you killed the guy but If I were you I would be a bit worried if he was a real tppker.

I doubt he's a real tppker because he didn't even look for ambush. I mean, did he even tp? because from your "D" it doesnt appear he hostiled and tp'ed to town like normal tppker would. Is there a chance the guy was just looking to help in normal and ended up being called a pk and it degenerated?

If he were a real tppk'er and belongs to a clan, I suggest you to stop joining public game but like I say... I don't think he was. Also NEVER underestimate a Tppker, go ask Nirvana he was 40 mil from being 99. Some guys can take less than 10 sec to tele from WS wp to throne.

Oh your from [EF] clan? I have baaled with a few of them. Nice people in general.

No matter if TPPK or normal PK, if someone goes hostile to you and you have the chance to kill him, do it. PKs are annoying to PVM players and know the risks, TPPKs are cheating scum.

That is why you should not take the risk. People who dies are either not cautious, new to HC or underestimate Pker. FYI, Most of trigger cannot die PVP.

If you want to kill Tppker, you better of trying PVM traps. Here's one, make a game like "wtfpk sux" and trap WP with deadly monsters. If the monsters do enough dmg they will die because their chicken won't have time to load.

The only way to kill a trigger in pvp is to have a trigger yourself and
use lag creator before you trig him or with bnet lag. The ironic part is if you have trigger yourself chances you know most pker.

Another way is to not directly aim at him to disable his anti auto-aim so he will only rely on his chicken or auto-juv. If you do enough dmg he will die.

So you see, if the tppker knows you want him chances are very slim you will kill him. Thing is all these tricks will get you in trouble. Why would you want troubles? Just stay calm, do your things and live longer.

sorry your friend's loss, stupid pkers calling you noob and leaving. If I were you, I would have told them they were nolifes for waiting an hour; seriously, they wasted an hour just to camp a body? Wow, I hope they die a terrible death in real life (preferably from something I do indirectly like me sneezing and they catch germs and die)
