    Crafting Page

The crafting stuff is wrong. Mostly with Materials.

Firstly, it should be mentioned on the page that we don't really know what Wood and Bone are called, and we're guessing by their icons.

If they were called Wood and Bone, they would not be "wood scraps" and "bone scraps" because judging by the naming convention Scraps is its own kind of material, and the equivalent would be "<adjective> wood" and "<adjective> bone".

Second of all, the wiki claims that you get Wood from Wooden items. that is not true. In the example in the video, Wood is earned by salvaging a Gauntlet, which has no would at all. the different materials are not based on what the item is made of, but by how Powerful the item is. When Jay salvages six items at once, you can see clearly that Basic items give scraps, magic items give scraps and essence, and Rare items give scraps and Wood.

Finally, the artifact used to create salvage should be called the Salvage Chest, not the salvage cube. It is not a cube, it is a chest.

Are you sure it's WRONG and not wrong? You could always consider logging in and "fixing" it.

I don't have an account, G. Plus I'm not a Wiki Magician like some people on Incgamers.

He said it was a cube like device. That's probably what's implied. Sounds good anyhow.

    Re: Crafting Wiki is WRONG

Well they have to be called something on the page for now. Obviously some stuff is place holder or best guess; we'll find out at blizzcon if it's wood chunks or wood slabs or bone shards or femurs 'o plenty, or whatever.

If someone wants to be really useful, they could go freeze frame the caravan movie and see exactly what the items put into the cube are. I took shots of it loaded, and then after the recycling, so you can see what came from what, but it would be interesting to know exactly. Even though the materials are semi-random.

I'm guessing the background glow is related to the item quality? Top right and bottom left are magical, gloves are rare, the other 3 are plain... If that's true, it's odd that the gloves didn't give any Essence, while the 2 apparently magical armors did. So maybe wood is magical wood? rarer material than the Essence? Or when they say semi-random, they really mean it.

BTW, it might take as long as 30 seconds to register a new wiki account, and the editing tools are about as complicated as WYSIWYG in a forum. The whole point in a wiki is that it's accessible. Anyone can easily help out and make changes where they're needed.

    Grug,

As flux said it's real easy to update a wiki. It's pretty similar to the forum. See the screendump below
