crafting and you ok, i tried to figure this thing myself, reading AS, Uzziah's guide and the item suffixes/affixes page here, but i am still a little confused (prolly' beacause i am stoopid) The task: i want 75 fcr on a hammerding without vipermagi. wizardspike/mesh leaves me at 70%. my 10 fcr ammys/rings don't have feasible mods for my cheesy guy, and i would have to sacrafice a +skills ammy or a fortitous ring of fortune to wear one. instead i would like a ring/ammy with 10 fcr and +mf(ring) or pally skills/combat skills(amulet) question1: should i craft caster rings that need to gain 2 affix to meet my wishes, but have some hammerdin-friendly affixes to begin with, or caster amulets that only need to gain 1 right affix, but that one seems to be rare...which leads to... question2: how do i figure the chanches of an affix/suffix spawning on a crafted item? is the same principle that goes for rerolling charms apply, as in "get the lowest possible ilvl that is enough for the affix/suffix you want?". ah btw that leads us to question3: are these ilvls correct for 1.10? http://www.diabloii.net/items/modifiers-new/xprefixes.shtml it sais 1.09d, i am not sure if these have changed or not. but figuring from there i would only need an ilvl50 ammy to get +2 paladin skills on it, which surprises me since i have found most (all?) of my +skill amulets in hell. ok, just one more...edit: dumb me, it is because it is ilvl50 for shields...but 90 for amulets. sorrry. question: crafted items gain rare or magical mods? is it possible to get +3 skill-tree on a crafted amulet? edit: would it be more effective to just reroll blue amulets till i get a monk's amulet of the apprentice?
