Couple of Titan questions

+vit, +life per character level, and +% life doesn't get multiplied by BO.

my 09 titan barb managed to get over 2k life with fairly cheap equipment, except his monster pike (which set me back 8 runes...). I think the most expensive thing he had apart from his weapon and jewelery (BLING!) was a pair of war travs...

nowadays with insanely, deliciously good survial gear (HELLOOOOOO Verdungos!), a well equiped titan would still be decent. its just more expensive. Before the a titan could get most of his gear fairly cheaply, except of course the weapon, nowadays someone playing a titan barb will have to shell out a lil more of the ol runeage to do the old lawnmower ww of 09

oh yes and i believe the days of titans maxing zerk have gone the way of the dodo. It was fun while it lasted guys. I could zerk a cow to death in 1hit back in 09!

So actually you are arguing about how much life do you need to survive?
5k life? :scratch: Heya, do some of ya put points in strenght and dex? Without any life gear and 400 stat points in life and 30 BO you could get something like around 4k life. And inventory full of small 20life charms can give you 2k life.
Its a bullsh*t. 2k life + at least lvl 26 shout is fine enough to survive any blows. Without PDR. And without any uber gosu turbo g0dly dupozored gear like "on every charachter present enigma and botd in some superior ethereal elite chainsaw."
My barb (conc) has 2.6k and has died a very few times from hell gloams or some "extra strong fanaticism cursed unique" :cheesy: . I never actually died from Iron Maiden but it usually leaves me with a less than 100 life points.
So, IM is Titans biggest problem, and once it sticks to ya there is nothing you can do. Other than that, build is okay.

I've made Hal's conc barb and he does very well since I cannot afford a super dmg weapon like ebotd. I'm also making a titan polearm ww'er and I've run into a lot more problems but they are all gear based. Personally I think Hal's way is def the better way to go unless you can afford a lot of high end stuff. Maybe I'm wrong.

With 2 echoing wepns, +3 cry ammy in inventory, and at least 800 def on armour you should do fine. Also, try starting with defiance merc, and switching to might later when you feel ready...
