FYI ... A Penny = 1 Cent of US currency or 1/100 of a US Dollar. A Pence is 1/100 of a UK Pound. Since 1 Pound = 1.7720 USD, a pence is worth more than a penny (and therefore a cent). So Farting Bob's 2 pence worth is more valuable than someone else's 2 cents worth.

Ah.

I thought the small UK currency unit was called penny when there is only one of it (i.e. 1 penny, 2 pence).

It is :) I suppose you can also use 'one pence' but that seems a little like saying 'one kangaroos' to me...

...so how did this thread turn from being a discussion about Countess runes to a currency discussion? :lol:

Best she left me was a Shael sofar. And I found an Amn in one of the chests on her level. I didn't run her much... yet. Best rune I found sofar is an Um from NM Hephaisto

While in between job this weekend i ran the countess a few times and she was nice and decides to drop me another LUM and a nice new KO to my rune list..

Highest rune I ever got off of the Countess is Dol in Hell.

I believe that this is the highest rune she can drop out of her "Special Drop" in NM. Despite hours and hours of Countess runs in NM and Hell since 1.1 came out, I really don't deserve it--the last batch of about 20 I've been doing at /players8, because I'm a FOOL! I don't know how I forgot. With my last character I always made sure it was at /players1. Sometimes I wonder about myself...

I've got a post in the technical forum, but if anybody here knows what the odds are I'd like to hear about it.
