Could someone answer a couple of questions for me?

Obviously I'm a newb here. I've been checking out the trading portion of the site and I have a couple of questions. What does ISO stand for and how do you mule someone an item? Thanks.

ISO = In search of.

Mule trading is where you create a character (on a seperate account), place the items on that character and then give your trade partner the account name and password and he or she takes your items and puts whatever he or she was supposed to trade you. Then you log in later and take your items completing the trade.

Obviously, this requires a certain level of trust.

Mule trades are fairly popular around here. What you do is:

Create a new account on battle net (be sure to remember the acct name/password)
Create a character
Place item(s) that are involved in the trade on said character
PM (private message) the person you are trading with the acct name/password
The person will then take the items you had placed on the character, and replace them with the item(s) that were owed to you
The person lets you know the trade is complete, you retrieve your item(s), and voila.

There is also a rating system for each person you trade with. Doesn't guarantee anything but helps.

It sort of goes without saying, but make sure the "trade account" you create has a password that doesn't even come close to your main accounts :).
