Sounds like type 1, but probably you need to work on your diet. What have you been eating recently? Lots of salt?

Type 1, the more likely given the average age around these forums, would actually present as him being UNDER weight. Medical stuff is sort of my bag
Good deal, and I didn't see your post listing the symptoms, because my phone rang while I was typing my response, and I was distracted. I just hope that Axurewrath is ok after it's all said and done. I was just writing from my own personal experience with diabetics, which is all I've got, so I'm glad that you pointed that out.

cheers

My mom is the head instructor at Children's Mercy Hospital for Diabetes(long titel huh). I will ask her what the major signs of diabetes are besides going pee a ton. And Type 1/2 does not descriminate on age. . .they are almost equal in children and adults.

The destruction of the beta cells in type 1 generally does happen relatively early in life, that's why it's called childhood diabetes. Type 2 is generally linked to being overweight for an extended period of time. This would of course require you to be alive for an extended period of time. There are rare cases of type 2 that results from the insulin being slightly mutated and I imagine that specific form of type 2 could stike at any age but the general type 2 needs time for the receptors to build up a resistance to insulin.

Even though it's probably nothing it's good that you checked it out.
It's important to be concerned and take care of your body! :)

Well dont ask your mom to get you a glass of water, because if you do there might be a lil disolving pill which is causing your problems =P (She wants the computer all to herself!)

You probably are sick, this happened to my boss.

He would drink 2 of those 2L water bottles every 30 mins, and piss about every hour :p

I think it's just your kidneys trying to flush your system.

I would just do as someone mentioned above and get gatorade and water it down. A have a gatorade powder that I made strong and one I made weak and one at normal to test how each affected me after work out, and I found the weak one (about half of the recommend powder per gallon) best helped to quench my thirst.

Oddly the normal one came in last, and yes this was not a lab kind of experiment but I did the best I could and am happy with the results.

Also if you recently started drinking protein mix that makes one thirsty like a mofo.

If you're ever REALLY dehydrated, go for pedalyte or ensure or something like that. Pure water when you're very dehydrated can kill you.

How does that work?
