CoT vs PS

Hi, what's more damaging, CoT or PS (assuming both are maxed for synergies)?

edit: Griffoens does not work with traps (only shockweb) as they are considered minions, but in the case of CoT an PS: is grifoen the best helm?

According to the Arreat Summit PS has higher damage and benefits more from synergies (in the case of lightning damage). But CoT has a lower mana requirement which could be a factor.

Griffin's is a great helm for Cot/PS I think, not sure if it's the best.
