Confusion regarding Martial Arts Sin

If anyone who knows quite a bit about martial arts pls pls help me! Thanks in advance:jig:

Please don't guess, I want to know for real, if you know one really super well then help me on that one.

1) I have 3 charges built up from level 20 Tiger strike using CLAW (will add
+1440% ed when released). Now I'm doing a KICK using Dragon talon finishing move. Does it take base damage of SHOE or CLAW when adding the +1440% ed???

2) Same as above but now I use DRAGON CLAW finishing move. Site says it's a "rending double claw attack". Is the +% ed is added to both claws? So doing +2880% ed in total???:undecided:

3) DRAGON TALON finishing move does an explosion and hits enemies in a 4 yard radius. Does the +1040% ed work on all dudes in the 4 yard radius?

4) Is DRAGON FLIGHT worth going for when fighting against computer? I can teleport which is nice but at the same time could it be a pain in the behind? Such as...I teleport on a moving monster and I totally miss because he moved. Or is it good because I can teleport and pick off who I want?

5) Who is usually better SHADOW WARRIOR or SHADOW MASTER? Who should I use here? Will the shadow master do dumb things I don't want her to do? Or will the shadow warrior use her skills out of sink with me and mess up a lot and almost be usueless just clawing people?

1, 2, and 3 i dunno
4: don't do dragon flight for combat. it's mainly used for an alternative to teleporting
5: depends on what you want him/her/it to do. Shadow warrior uses the skills you have in left and right buttons, therefore giving you more specific attacks. Shadow master can do many attacks, including ones you don't have, and you have no control over which ones he uses.

1, 2, 3 also dunno
4, i always get dragon flight, since i dont use enigma, its a fast way to move in crowded places, (using lvl 32 venom, dragon flight and bladefury is how i do chaos with my MA sin)
5, shadow master is one of the best ( IMO ) crowd control skills, my MA sins would all fail uber trist without her,

Shadow warriors die quickly. There is a sticky in the assassin forum answering all of your questions.

1. A level 20 DT (Talon) will add around 125% ED if I am not mistaken. The 1440% from Tiger strike will be added ALONG WITH DT's ed. So it will be 1565% ED kick, and will ONLY be applied to the first one.

2. No, the finish will only apply to one hit, not both hits. (Unfortunately.)

3. I believe you're talking about dragon tail, with the explosion. No, the ED is not applied ot everyone in the blast radius, only the monster you attacked.

4. Dragon Flight is a great move in PvP, sometimes worth maxing in those builds, but no, generally it is not fast enough to do much good in PvM, even when maxed. Another reason is that you cannot select monsters in a certain radius, I think 2-3 yards (about an inch on the screen.) So if you were to be mobbed and that was your only attack on your mouse at the time, well, you'd be screwed.

5. Shadow Master is far better because it has higher life, better AI, and resist.

Assassins are my favorite character class, and I have researched them extensively. If you have any questions you can just message me.

The explosion damageof DTail is based of the physical damage you do. So in that sense, yes it does. The physical damage is not directly carried over by the explosion however.

While I never really got the hang of DF, a great use for it should be minion stack. If your merc starts lagging behind just click on the enemy you want him to attack, and it is done. (or at least it should be)

Warriors don't have a notably lower resist than Masters (at higher levels they have better resists, and with fade the issue is solved anyway, which a Master doesn't always cast), the life of both minions is the same and whether 'better' AI is a good thing is a point up to debate. I can at least name a few things the Master does that vary from rather silly to annoying to dangerous. A Warrior does never do anything I don't want her to do, except dying. But with elemental immunity and 50+ %DR that doesn't happen that often.

1) answered, boot @ 1440%

2) one claw, your leading one

3) the points in dtail are added to the fire radius, not any other modifiers save boot physical damage from str/dex and the boot itself. also worth noting that the fire damage here is converted directly from the physical aspect of dtail. If you kick a PI monster your fire will not trigger for anyone.

4) It works, you will always connect, only depends on your attack rating. Only problem is if you're blocking from dual claws or a shield, you will animate the kick but not teleport to your target, which happens more often than you think.

5) Master outweighs Warrior in that Master can tank and crowd control and kill. The only thing Warrior does that Master can't is mimic you.

Warriors can tank every bit as good as Masters and at least Warriors don't DF away while tanking. Comparing the killing speed between a Master and a Warrior is like holding a marathon between a tortoise and a rock.

Change that to: "one claw; the first one that hits" (which could also be the offhand one)

And masters are usually loved/hated because they can cast a lot of Mind Blast (depending on how many points in MB you have). This can save your butt... or cripple your killing speed. The actual killing power of a Shadow is low.
