Yes. Concentration is vital for Hammers to boost the damage. IIRC level 30 hammers do about 2500 damage without and around 8000 damage with concentration switched on (this is with maxed vigor and blessed aim too for the synergies).

It also boosts the damage done by your merc too so a standard bonehew act 2 freeze merc does about 5000 damage too.

Concentration gives damage bonus to hammer.
However, the damage is only 50% of the listed damage.
(if it says the aura adds 200% damage, it actually only adds 100%. This applies only to blessed hammer, not on melee, where it gives a full 200%...)

    i had another question
everybody says : ÿeah, my hammer does 10k" or something like that.

i have 20 or higher for hammer, vigor, aim and 7 for concentration and i do "only" 2500-3000 damage .

    Is that normal??

I have 23 hammer, 23 vigor, 17 blessed aim, and 23 conc and i do 4800 dmg hammers. To do 10k dmg hammers you need L30 in all those skills, so get a hoz, shako, +2 ammy, and a hoto if you can. I use wizardspike because I can't get a damn Vex rune.
