Conc or Berserker

Hi, I'm planning to make a pvm barb and can't decide which build i should go for. Any kind of suggestions are welcome :thumbsup:

Conc is much safer with better synergies; you can get high damage, defense, life, resists, blocking, and pdr with the build, without any real fear of death. You can leech mana and life back with each attack and you don't have to be concerned with faster hit recovery.

Berserk can do EXTREMELY high magical damage, which is great since most enemies don't really have a lot of magic resistance. Problem being of course that the synergies are kind've strange, you have no defense, and you have to have great faster hit recover/faster block. They can be very powerful, you just have to be a lot more careful an really learn to use skills like howl, taunt, and warcry. They cannot leech back their life/mana with their main skill.

I would go with conc myself, but of course, I wrote the book, hah hah.

i'd say it depends on what weapon you're gonna use. if you use a 1 handed botd weapon then i'd prolly go for conc, but with a lower damage weapon such as grandfather i'd go for berserk, you'll kill better that way. alternatively if you're using a 2 handed botd weapon such as a warpike then i'l probably use berserk because you can run around 1 hit killing most stuff that way and defensive issues such as blocklock don't come into play.

Warcry zerker with something really heavy(2h).The ultimate fun.Zerk is pretty much the essense of what barbs are about & that is offense.

I'm on HC Ladder and i don't have any BOTD. I have GF and Death Cleaver, with these 2 weapons in mind which build should i aim for? I was thinking Conc barb with DC? I would also like to know what would be the best thing to socket in DC.

I'd go conc with DC.

Conc ias frame breaks with a berserker axe are 75% for 10 and 125 for 9, so you might want to put an ed/ias jewel in your DC if you need the ias. If not, ed/max is very nice.

I have a lvl 83 conc barb in EHCL, and I find death cleaver works well, although
my dmg is considerably low (4k).

I've socketed mine with a shael, and socketed my arreats with a 15% ias jewel, just so i can hit faster, keep my defense up with conc, and get that deadly strike more often (DC has 50% deadly strike)

He doesn't do much dmg, but he's invincible, so i can sit there in the middle of a mob and take em out 1 by 1(I can even tank 8 people minions of destruction in hell)
