Cold Mastery: Negative Resist in PvP?

Does this cause neg resis in pvp? say if someone has 0 cr vs sorc with 50 cm will the sorcs cold spells do 50 percent more dmg?

The lowest someone can be lowered is a total result of -100%. So if they have 0% resistance, level17 ColdMastery is all you need.

Of course, most people will overstack their resistance if facing a coldsorc, or load up with +absorb gear, or both.

Watch out for Druid Cyclone Armor though.

Their armor is always at 0% resistance so your -cold won't do anything against it, just your base damage.
